From the first meeting to establish a care plan for my mother, Jeremy was respectful of our time, thorough and ultimately delivered on promises to find a caregiver that would meet my mother’s needs. Mimi and Evelyn and our caretaker Claudia, were very friendly, thorough as well, and again made sure they could meet the goals set for my mother. Claudia is AMAZING! She is decades younger, but you’d think she and mom were long-time friends. There are many times I hear the two of them giggling off in the distance. Claudia is gentle with mom, and treats her with great respect, loving care, and all the attention she needs. She is just fantastic! It’s so rare, and very nice to find a company that is compassionate about caregiving. I highly recommend them.

A woman by the name of Ingrid acted very unprofessional and very rude, she would not and did not accept my Social Security Card that was given to me by the Social Security Administration Office many years ago. I asked Ingrid in HR to please give me a letter on why she refused to use my Social Security Card to take into the Social Security Office to show them why Ingrid refused to us my social security card and Ingrid said no. This woman Ingrid has no business being in the Human Resource Department for singling me out from being employed.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I was in great need of help taking care of my loved one. I was not equipped to provide the care needed and I was scared I would do something wrong. I reached out to Amada for help and they were wonderful! They were not only there to help w/ my loved one, but they also supported me and my family. I am eternally grateful for them!

I am writing this review to express my immense gratitude for the care my father received from Amada for the past year and a half. My father was living at Franklin in independent care. He has Alzheimers and the only reason he was able to live in independent care was due to the Amada providers who came by 2-3 times a day. My father has had many providers in that time(all good) but 2 stand out, Olivia and Cooper. Cooper was one of his first providers, then she was promoted but always checked in on my dad. Coincidentally, Cooper reminded my dad of a high school friend and he always called her by that name. Cooper always went along with it. Olivia has been with my dad for at least a year. She treats my father as if he were her own. She did things like download music on her phone that she knew my dad liked, and played it for him. I would often come to visit and find them singing and smiling. Thank you

My 92-year-old mother is cared for by the Amada office in San Antonio, TX. The caregivers are kind, respectful and compassionate. The vetting process and training are thorough and office staff has even helped us file paperwork with her long term care insurance, which isn’t easy to navigate through if you’re inexperienced. The caregivers are punctual and the office communicates with me if anything unexpected comes up. They take her to her medical appointments and grocery store or pharmacy, take her out for walks and have even visited her at the in-house rehabilitation center when she broke her hip last year. They help her with showering, dressing and bedtime, and make sure she takes her medications. I live in a different city and really takes a load off my shoulders to know they are there for her, helping her stay in her home while she is able. Thank you, Amada!
Amada was the first place I called when we brought our 96-yr old father to live with us. They did not disappoint. From day one they provided guidance based on our needs. They listened to us and tailored services our father needed from finding someone they thought would be the right match to being flexible when we needed to make a change. Always caring and attentive. Amada is a wonderful company with a dedicated and caring staff! From senior staff to caregivers, they have given my mother nothing but quality care. During these last eight months we have been battling with her insurance company to reinstate my mom’s home care (which was finally granted). Amada has been beside us every step of the way!
My wife and I were recently in an auto accident which left my wife unable to walk, bathe or go to the bathroom without assistance. I was doing my best to take care of her myself and work from home, and doing a pretty mediocre job at both. I called AMADA to see if they could help and we knew from the intake interview later that day that they would be a perfect fit for my wife’s needs. Rebecca Castillo has been a huge blessing as my wife’s caretaker while she heals from her injuries. She has been very caring and is obviously extremely knowledgeable and well-trained in providing home health care. My wife has now recovered to the point that we no longer require home health care, but if we do again, we will call AMADA and ask for Rebecca. We very highly recommend her and AMADA.
We have using Amada for a few months now for my father on Hospice. We have had varied good caregivers, but a very special one is Lulu. She is thoughtful, compassionate, gentle, and skilled. She goes beyond “good” care, she is excellent!!
