Upon looking, we discovered that she did not have Chinese Checkers in her collection of games. I added that in my charting notes & mentioned it to Preeti. Preeti & AB bought Chinese Checkers & delivered the game to Client’s home so we could play it. Same Client had a hair appointment that she was ecstatic over. I wholeheartedly planned on taking her to said appointment & ended up with food poisoning & was unable to, unfortunately. I notified Preeti & she covered my shift w/ Client in my stead. Both Preeti & AB made certain she got to the hair appointment she was so anxiously waiting for!!! Preeti & AB are adaptable & understanding. In the event one of us(employees) have an emergency or need a day off, they step in to cover our shift so, our Clients are taken care of in our stead. Amada Senior Care is the only company I have ever worked for that does not treat their employees poorly & do not think of Clients as numbers or dollar signs. Finding daytime caregivers to help my mother who has Parkinson’s be safe at home while I am at work was overwhelming until we found Amada Senior Care. Abhi and his team made everything so simple and he works tirelessly to ensure the best care and the right fit of caregivers for our family. We are so pleased with the women that he has matched my mom with and the regular support he provides the staff and our family. Jen, in particular has been an amazing companion and carer for my mom, spending afternoons with her and picking up additional shifts. In addition to doing regular around the house type things together, Mom and Jen have bonded over their love of animals, playing board games, and Jen has even helped Mom with an exercise routine that supports her mobility living with Parkinson’s. Jen is kind, loving, patient, and a great listener. She treats my mom like her own and makes sure to let me know how Mom‘s doing and how her day is going. Amada Senior Care has been a blessing for our family. I rest much easier now knowing that my mom is in great hands.
