My name is Jennifer Matus owner of Amada Senior Care of Fairfield County, CT. I’m a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband and a proud mom to two beautiful young daughters. Family has always been the heart of my life—and it’s also the reason I found my calling in senior care.

After college, I returned home to help my mother and father care for my beloved nanny, Bertha. As she aged, there was no question in our minds: she would remain at home, surrounded by love and dignity. That experience bonded our family deeply, and it opened my heart to the unique needs—and joys—of in-home senior care.

Non-medical caregiving for U.S. veterans includes a range of supportive services that enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. This can involve assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship to combat loneliness. Caregivers can also provide emotional support, help with managing schedules, and offer respite care for family members. Additionally, they may assist with errands, mobility support, and engaging veterans in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and purpose. These services ensure that veterans maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.row

My name is Jennifer Matus, owner of Amada Senior Care of Fairfield County, CT.

I began my career as a physical therapist, originally drawn to the field through my own experience as an athlete. I thought I’d specialize in orthopedics, but caring for Bertha changed everything. I realized my passion was working with seniors—helping them not just heal, but thrive, right where they are most comfortable: in their own homes.
Over the years, I’ve been privileged to care for many seniors, and each one has left a mark on my heart. For me, they are a reminder of why this work is so meaningful.

Now, as the Owner of Amada Senior Care of Fairfield County, CT I’m bringing that same spirit of compassion, connection, and integrity to families across our community.  I pour my energy into building a care team that treats your loved ones like our own—with respect, warmth, and unwavering attention to their well-being.

I understand that many adult children want to be there for their aging parents but can’t always do it alone. That’s where we come in—not just as a service, but as an extension of your family. We believe seniors deserve more than just care; they deserve to be seen, heard, and cherished.

At Amada Senior Care of Fairfield County, we’re here to ensure your loved ones age with the dignity they deserve, and to give you the peace of mind that they’re in good hands—loving hands.

We’re honored to walk this journey with you. Call us today to find out how we can help, because someone you love needs us.
