I wanted to thank Amada Senior Care for the wonderful care that you all made possible for mom her last few months. I don’t know what I would have done without the two caregivers that shared in my mom’s care! They are both truly angels and I always felt comfortable leaving her in their hands when I had to go to work. The both ended up totally devoted to mom and both of them went above and beyond what was expected of them for mom. Both of them would read and do research after they left and were at home on their own time regarding mom’s needs.

Many times I received phone calls and texts from one of the caregivers in the evenings telling me what she had read! She really cared. That is a gift. The other caregiver also would try all sorts of different things to keep mom engaged and comfortable. She was always bringing little games or some special treat to share with mom. She has been checking up on me regularly since mom passed even though she herself is recovering from surgery. I consider her a dear friend now.

The caregivers have very different styles and approaches, but they were both able to get through to mom in their own way and she adored them both. I’ll miss them very much as will the rest of my family; we became as attached to them as they were to mom.

I will and already have several times, recommended your company to others with similar senior care needs. Thank you again, and God bless you!

I highly recommend AMADA Senior Care of Annapolis. They provided in-home care for my brother over the past 4 years. The caregivers really do care! Dan and Cherie went above and beyond, helping us set up my brother's Long Term Care insurance coverage and answering a variety of questions. They arranged care for my brother 7 days a week, 14 hours per day. Most importantly, the care givers raised the quality of life of my brother during this challenging time.

For almost 3 years, Amada provided the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable caregivers to assist me in giving my wonderful 93 year old mother the loving attention that ensured her dignity, comfort and safety. During this time she eventually became unable to walk and was incontinent. Our caregivers gave both of us encouragement and reassurance while anticipating what our changing needs would be. Thanks to their friendship and tireless efforts, mom was as comfortable as could be hoped for right up to her peaceful passing at the age of 96. By that time, our caregivers felt like family. On several occasions my siblings thanked them for looking out for my physical and emotional well being as well as mom’s. Kathi and Cherie were able to add wonderful caregivers whenever I needed to increase coverage for mom as our needs changed, often on short notice. Dan and Cherie took a huge burden off my shoulders by directly billing mom’s long term care insurance. I didn’t have to do any of the complicated paperwork for that. I will always be grateful to Amada for the amazing support they provided during the most difficult ordeal a family could experience.

Thank you for the caregivers, Leon and Tamara, who came to help care for my husband in the last days of his life. They were very competent, caring and respectful in the way they treated my husband and myself. My family and I felt very close to both of them.

Amada caregivers were experienced, professional, and caring, while providing much needed assistance doing chores around the house which I could no longer accomplish safely on my own. They helped with the laundry, light housework, bathing and dressing, as well as transporting me to and from medical and therapy appointments, grocery shopping, and preparing meals.

 

We appreciated Amada’s willingness and flexibility, while working around our ever-changing needs; Caregivers assigned by Dan and the office team were always warm and caring to my husband, Dave, and myself throughout these many months. Caregivers Ashley, Karen, and Becky worked with us as friends, almost family.

 

We were so pleased with Amada’s services that we have engaged the Richmond office to provide similar service since we relocated to Midlothian, Virginia.
